🤍 For fasting labs that you can not have drawn in the morning. Schedule an afternoon appointment, and eat breakfast. Fasting should be 8 hours.
🤍 For children, most labs needed will not require fasting. Schedule pediatric draws later in afternoon.
🤍 If possible, try to push liquids 24 hours before your blood draw. (Especially for children)
🤍 To make your experience as stress-free as possible, please try to include any information, special requirements, or any accommodations that will be helpful for our phlebotomists.
🤍 For fasting labs, you can drink water. (Always consult your medical provider for any questions or instructions)
